BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Bridgewater State College sophomore Julie Kraby has been named the Little East Conference (LEC) Women's Tennis Rookie of the Week.

Competing out of the sixth singles flight, Kraby helped Bridgewater State post a 2-0 week, including a 1-0 mark in the Little East. The Wrentham, Massachusetts product won each of her matches over her opponents from Plymouth State (6-2, 6-2) and Johnson & Wales (6-3, 6-2) in straight sets.

Through the first three matches this season, Kraby is undefeated in singles play with all three victories coming in straight sets.
