BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- As the Bridgewater State College mens basketball team prepared for the 2008-09 season, size seemed to be on its side. The Bears were returning Jim Torney, a 6-foot-7 player who averaged 9.4 points and 6.2 rebounds in 21.5 minutes last season. Adam Donovan, who is also 6-foot-7 and did not play last season due to a knee injury, was slated to join the frontcourt rotation.
