14th Annual South Sectional Aquatics Meet
for Massachusetts Special Olympics

On Sunday, April 27, 2008 Bridgewater State College will be hosting the 14th Annual South Sectional Aquatics Meet for Massachusetts Special Olympics in the Kelly Gym.

The success of this event relies heavily on volunteers and, in the past, the response from our town and college community has been incredible. We hope this year won't be any different! If you've volunteered for Special Olympics before, you know what a rewarding experience it is and, if you haven't, this is a great opportunity to find out firsthand!

We are looking for volunteers to spend the morning, afternoon, or entire day helping contribute to the success of this annual event. Volunteers escort athletes to the pool area, present awards to athletes, time swimming events, help distribute athlete lunches, organize games and other activities for athletes to participate in when they are not competing, manage the Parent's Lounge, and MUCH MORE!

You can sign up to participate from 8am-12pm, 12pm-4pm, or 8am-4pm. We will need your contact information (name and email address), chosen time to volunteer, and t-shirt size. All volunteers are given an event t-shirt and lunch will be provided. If there is a particular place you would like to help out, feel free to specify.
