Vincent Hickey was an outstanding quarterback for the Bridgewater State College Football team from 1969-72. During his football career he was named to the New England Football conference (NEFC) All-star team in 1969,1971 and 1972. He was also the Bears' co-captain in 1972. Vince still holds the BSC records for most passing yardage in a season (1418 yds), most completions in a game (19), most completions in a season (123) and highest completion percentage for a season and career.
Following his playing career at Bridgewater, Mr. Hickey went on to the Blue Hills Regional High School where he has coached football the last 29 seasons. Vin has a coached Blue Hills to 175 wins and two Super Bowl appearences during his tenure highlighted by a Super Bowl Championship in 1984. Mr. Hickey and his family reside in Canton, MA.
