"Second place finish in the country is a HUGE deal to BSC Cheerleaders" 

This past weekend the Bridgewater State College Cheerleaders placed second in the nation at the National Cheerleading Association's Collegiate National Championships.  The event was held April 8-12th in Daytona Beach, FL. 

The Bears broke every BSC Cheer record including highest finish and highest score.  The cheerleaders hit a solid routine scoring an 8.902, just 0.33 behind the first place team.  This score was also the second highest out of every New England college. 

In previous years the Bears have placed 7th and 8th in the nation with a record high score of 8.325. 

The Bears will be on FSN on April 27th.   Check local listings.
