ABOUT BSC CHEERLEADING

BSC has been a competitive cheerleading team ranking in the top 7 in the nation for the last 4 years.

This year we are trying to form two teams as part of the BSC CHEERLEADING CLUB:

Game Team: 20-24 people. Co-Ed. Does not compete. Will cheer at all home games and BSC events (such as Midnight Madness, Homecoming, etc). Will exhibition at BSC Family Cheer night @ BSC. And maybe do more! Will practice 2x / week. Schedule TBA and will be made around the people who make the team so everyone can attend each practice. Back handsprings are encouraged but not required.

Competition Team: 20-24 people. Will not cheer at games or events. WIll exhibition at local all star competitions and BSC Family Cheer night and compete at the NCA Collegiate Nationals in Daytona, FL. WIll practice 3x / week scheduled around those who make the team so everyone can attend each practice. Tumbling (tucks or better) is necessary and strongly encouraged but not required. Co-Ed but males will probably not compete in Daytona at NCA Nationals due to our division of choice (all girl division II) in 2008-2009. However, they will be able to exhibition and practice with the team.
