The founding coach of the new Bridgewater Bears Ice Hockey Club,
Holman has been coaching the team since its reemergence as a
student organization in September 1998. A player and coach
for many years in Ontario before moving to Massachusetts in 1996,
he is a member of the American Hockey Coaches Association and USA
Hockey. Holman also teaches History and Canadian Studies at
the College.

Born in South Africa, Taylor ventured to Massachusetts and
played goaltender at Northfield Mount Hermon School from '92-'96.
During this time he was the goaltender for the South African U20
National team from '93-'95 and for the South African National Team
for the '95-'96 season. A graduate of Rochester Institute of
Technology, with a BSc in Civil Engineering, Taylor joins the
'06-'07 Bears for his first season as a goalie coach after 6 years
of military service.
