On Veteran's Day the Bears were at home to take on conference rival MIT. In the first period MIT jumped out to a 1-0 lead on a shot from the point that was deflected past goalie Zack Dupere. The Bears were unable to find any offense in the period and headed into the locker room trailing a goal.
After the intermission BSC quickly tied the game up after John Cole found Chris Boyle in front of the net for a power play goal. After that BSC picked up the pace of the game led by Dave Barnard who had a total of six hits in the period. Before the end of the second Derek Fortuna added in a goal to increase the Bears lead to 3-1.
In the third period BSC came out firing and were able to extend their lead to 5-1 with goals from Ryan Hebert, John Cole and Mike Wilson.
With the win the Bears come away with 2 points towards their place in the conference standings.
